Mrs Magali Le C.
I have been struggling with my ear problems for 30 years now. More than half of my life has passed without me being able to forget my ears for a single day: vertigo attacks, terrible tinnitus, hyperacusis, deafness… the whole thing! With a very big aggravation 3 years ago, which plunged me into a state of total exhaustion and non-life: bilateral Meniere’s disease.
I don’t think anyone can imagine, without having experienced it, the hell of this invisible handicap which forces us to extract ourselves from life. The confinement in one’s own head. The physical and psychological suffering. And all the difficulties of everyday life, all those simple things that we can no longer do, talk on the phone, listen to music, talk with others during a shared meal, work…
We don’t know, when everything is going well, how precious this sense is.
After having looked at everything that was possible, I had to realise that nobody seemed to be able to help me. And that’s not easy to live with… However, I never lost the conviction that healing was possible.
And I ended up, fortunately, meeting Natacha Chetritt-Bonneyrat.
From the very first contact, the preliminary assessment, I finally felt truly heard by someone who knows what she is talking about… and I left with the feeling that she was going to do everything possible to help me. The work with her is not finished, but it has already rid me of the hyperacusis and made my tinnitus more bearable. Of all the things I’ve tried, this is the only thing I can say that has really improved my condition. So I think it will continue to develop positively…
The road to recovery is not always easy, but as far as I am concerned Natacha Chetritt-Bonneyrat has allowed me to make sense of this pathology, and to strengthen my confidence in a possible cure.
And I would even say that what I have done with her goes beyond my “simple ear problems” (who would have thought I would ever say that?) to have a positive impact on my whole life. She does a wonderful job, with great competence, great motivation and a lot of accuracy, as well as Yves Bonneyrat, always there to help us.
I thank them both very sincerely.
