Mr Gaël M. – Succes hyperacusis treatment protocol

After more than three years of suffering the hell that is hyperacusis, I was finally able to find the answer to my problems by following the Oreblue method.

After a lively evening, I woke up on the morning of January 1, 2018 with tinnitus… As well as dizziness and sound intolerance. Thinking it wouldn’t last I didn’t take any special precautions and was soon able to put a word to these symptoms: hyperacusis.

I was totally unaware of the disease until I was hit by it head-on, but I quickly realized that getting rid of it would be difficult, if not impossible, and I persisted in thinking that I’d suffered a sound trauma and was doomed. I quickly discovered the institute via social networks, but consulted many ENT specialists and other health professionals before taking the plunge. Consultations with both conventional and non-conventional doctors failed to solve my problems, although some were able to bring me relief and active listening.

The suffering was such that I had nothing left to lose. So, in the spring of 2021, I made an appointment with Mme Bonneyrat for a check-up, and embarked on therapy in the months that followed. I was suffering from “moderate” hyperacusis, my discomfort thresholds measured between 60 and 80db when I arrived. As I progressed, I was able to return to normal thresholds. However, it’s important to distinguish between thresholds and real-life experience.

Today, I live perfectly normally and no longer wear hearing protection. I still have some way to go when it comes to dealing with certain noises, but I now have an explanation for the onset of symptoms and the tools to work on them. Hyperacusis and its associated symptoms (tinnitus, dizziness, cottony ear, etc.) are very emotionally linked, and the Oreblue method not only re-educates the ear, but also teaches you how to prevent the attacks from happening again.

I can therefore only recommend this therapy, despite its cost and the commitment it requires, to those who suffer from these symptoms.

At last, there’s a way out of these misunderstood problems, which are poorly treated by traditional medicine.
